North West 200 News

Following consultation with the Department of Infrastructure on plans to introduce a cycle path from Ballysally Roundabout to University Corner, on the outskirts of Coleraine,  the organisers of the Briggs Equipment North West 200 have engaged a team of officials and some of the North West 200s leading competitors to ensure the proposed construction work will not have any negative impact upon the stretch of road which is used as part of the NW200 race course each May.

Glenn Irwin, Peter Hickman, Alastair Seeley and Steve Plater joined Mervyn Whyte, Stanleigh Murray, Stephen Burns, NW200 Event Safety Consultant and Christy O’Neill of Event Solutions at the site this week to discuss the proposed plans and recommendations before the work commences.
