Davey Todd, the winner of the CP Hire and Amici Ristorante Superstock races with Milwaukee BMW and the Tides Restaurant Supersport event on a Powertoolmate Ducati at last year’s Briggs Equipment North West 200, will be reunited with the Milenco by Padgett’s Honda squad at this year’s event on May 5-10.
The 29 year old, who previously rode for Clive Padgett’s team between 2019 and 2023, will ride Honda machinery in the Supersport class and a Paton in the Supertwin division alongside FHO Racing M1000RR BMWs in the BSB series and the Superstock and Superbike classes on the roads.
‘I am super excited because it is really cool to be back with the Padgett’s team and to have a full quota of bikes for 2025 with just two teams which was important to me.’ Todd said.
‘Jumping back on to the Padgetts bikes will be what I started on and there are so many good memories with the team such as my first international road race win at the NW200 in 2019.’
‘There have also been some rule changes in the last couple of years which have opened things up to make improvements to the CBR600RR which Clive has done.’
But the Italian Paton machine will be an unknown quantity for both the rider and team.
‘I’ve never ridden a Paton before so there will be a learning curve.’ Todd said.
‘But it is the bike to be on in the Supertwin class.’
