JOSH BROOKES RETURNS TO ACTION AT 2025 BRIGGS EQUIPMENT NORTH WEST 200 WITH JACKSON RACING HONDA

Josh Brookes, a former double British Superbike champion and an outright lap record holder around the 8.9 mile Triangle course, will return to Portrush with the Jackson Racing Prosper2 team during this year’s Briggs Equipment North West 200 race week on May 5-10.
The 41 year old Australian will compete alongside Northern Ireland’s Paul Jordan on Superbike, Superstock and Supersport-spec Hondas prepared by Alan Jackson’s Preston-based squad.
Paul Jordan enjoyed a run of top six finishes on the Jackson Racing machines in the Merrow Hotel and Spa Superbike race, CP Hire Superstock event, Tides Restaurant and Fraser Homes Supersport races at last year’s North West.
‘We want to build on that success.’ the team principal said.
‘It has been great to be at the North West with a local rider like Paul. He is up there with the best and we have enjoyed the support he gets from his home crowd. Now I am absolutely thrilled to have a rider of Josh’s calibre joining the team and I can’t wait to get going.’
Brookes, who will compete in this year’s British Superbike series with the DAO Racing team, was a podium finisher in his last race on the Triangle course, claiming third place on a MCE Ducati in the feature Superbike event behind Glenn Irwin and Richard Cooper in 2022.
‘It is a huge feather in our cap to have Josh in the team.’ Jackson added.
‘He is a world class rider who has previously proven his pedigree and we will be doing everything we can to give him the tools that will allow him to get the job done this year.’
That sentiment was echoed by NW200 Event Director, Mervyn Whyte.
‘Josh is a very experienced and talented competitor who is also very popular with the fans and they will be as delighted as we are to have him back on the NW200 grid with the Jackson Racing team come May.’
