MARCUS PORTRUSH PARTNERS 2026 BRIGGS EQUIPMENT NORTH WEST 200 DURING RACE WEEK ON MAY 4-9

North West 200 News

The Marcus Portrush will partner the 2026 Briggs Equipment North West 200 during May 4-9 race week.

Set within a beautifully restored Victorian landmark on Main Street, The Marcus Portrush, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, offers boutique style, contemporary comfort and a prime base for race week.

For the North West 200, location matters. The hotel is within walking distance of some of the most sought after NW200 vantage points, placing you close to the action while giving you the comfort of retreating to a refined space once the engines quieten. Blue flag beaches and coastal walks are also just moments away, offering sea air and space to reset between race days.

As part of Hilton, guests benefit from trusted service standards and the reassurance of global quality, alongside the opportunity to collect Hilton Honors reward points throughout their stay.

After a day trackside, refuel at Nemesis Asian Fusion with bold, globally inspired dishes, or unwind with handcrafted cocktails and relaxed lunches at The Heritage Cocktail Bar.

‘We at The Marcus Portrush are delighted to partner with the Briggs Equipment North West 200. Celebrating everything that Portrush and the North Coast have to offer is at the heart of the Marcus story, and there is no better event to showcase this than the NW200. The atmosphere it brings to the area is truly unrivalled, and we are proud to play a part in welcoming visitors and celebrating the community during this iconic event.’ Heather Stewart Welsh, General Manager, said.

‘We are delighted to welcome the Marcus Portrush as an event partner for 2026.’ Race Director, Mervyn Whyte, said.

‘Tens of thousands of people visit the north coast during the North West 200 each year, providing a major boost for local hotels and businesses in the area. It is gratifying and reassuring to have the support of Marcus Portrush and so many other local businesses in return.’

Briggs Equipment North West 200 newcomers, Franco Bourne and Storm Stacey join the Marcus Portrush hotels Amy Coleman to announce the hotels partnership with the race event in 2026. Also included are Emir McLaughlin, NW200 Event Manager, and Mervyn Whyte, Race Director.
