‘I’ve grown up in this area and have always been part of the event.’ Gareth Witherow of The Tides Restaurant Portrush said.

‘I even sold programmes for the races as a boy! The Briggs Equipment North West 200 is good for the North coast area and for our business which is located right on the track. We have supported this event year on year and now we are delighted to be sponsoring a race for the seventh year.’

‘Sporting events like the North West increases exposure and tourism in Northern Ireland. We have established ourselves as a busy popular restaurant in Portrush since 2013 then expanding into Coleraine opening the Newbridge in 2016 and Urban Portrush in 2020. We appreciate all the support we receive from tourism and from our local diners. Without them we wouldn’t be here today.’

‘We welcome all NW200 spectators to the restaurant for an adrenaline fuelled atmosphere right on the track. From everyone at The Tides Portrush we wish all the bikers the best of luck, and most of all a safe race.’

‘Gareth and the Tides Restaurant Portrush team have been very loyal supporters of the NW200 and we are delighted to have them back with us for 2026.’ NW200 Race Director, Mervyn Whyte, said.

‘Attracting tens of thousands of race fans to the north coast area each May, the North West 200 plays an important role in supporting local businesses and we really appreciate the support Gareth and his team has provided over the last seven years.
