With just 40 days to go until the 2026 Briggs Equipment North West 200, the countdown is officially underway as the event prepares to welcome a truly international line up to Northern Ireland’s North Coast.

This year’s grid will feature competitors from 20 countries, spanning from Sweden to Australia, and from Finland to Italy, highlighting the global appeal of the iconic road race. From established road racing stars to emerging talent from across the world, the North West 200 continues to unite the very best in the sport on the famous Triangle circuit.

A total of 117 competitors are set to take part in the 2026 event, including 27 newcomers who will tackle one of the fastest road races in the world for the very first time — adding an extra layer of excitement and anticipation to race week.

The 2026 edition also marks a significant milestone with the introduction of the European Superbike Road Race Championship (ESR). The North West 200 will proudly feature as a championship round, bringing together elite superbike riders from across Europe and further elevating the level of competition on the grid.
